My Husband Planted a Pole...

I guess this was my fathers day gift from my husband...a clothesline pole.

It is becoming abundantly clear that he is anxious for me to arrive in Columbia so his 'house-chores' can subside. He must be getting tired of the washer and dryer routine if he is this motivated...on a Sunday, in 95 degree heat, on Fathers Day...digging a hole, mixing cement, a real man-job. Wow!

All for little ole' me...I can't wait to arrive and hang his underwear on it week after week...Happy Fathers Day to All!

End of Year Performance

There was no lack of tears when she danced solo and then with her male partner to end the evening. This was her 12th year performing with Florida Arts and Dance Company and we will really miss seeing all these wonderful performances.

When we get the pictures from the photographer I'll post some of them here for everyone to enjoy.

Sunfest 2009

What a weekend. Our Son's band Wait For Green was featured on the Coors Light Stage Saturday night at Sunfest in West Palm Beach. It was almost sureal to see him on stage playing drums at such a huge venue.

Of course it's their dream to hit the big times and who knows. It was a huge moment for them and a real rush to some really proud parents here. Look them up on myspace/waitforgreen or on youtube.com search wait for green for some videos.

It's late, I'm tired, but what a day!
